The Overseas Market Development Association (OMDA) paces with the fast-moving and ever-changing marketplace to provide members with the appropriate bridge and suitable platform from which to internationalise their business into the global market.

OMDA serves as the business link for members seeking overseas business partners, sales agents or distributors, joint-venture manufacturers to source from its regularly updated network of contacts. OMDA works closely with relevant trade agencies and other industries association in championing Singapore registered companies to successfully set foot in overseas market and/or expand upon their existing market shares abroad.

OMDA operates from funds generated from overseas marketing activities which are driven or organised by OMDA in promoting its members interests, in addition to voluntary contribution from council members. The association targets to have a large pool of members, with similar desire and goals, to form a substantial critical mass for initiatives and schemes to be implemented.

Membership is free. Companies originating from Singapore are eligible as Ordinary members with voting rights. Companies originating from overseas are welcomed to join as Associate members to enjoy business matching and sourcing facilities provided to all members.
